Today’s a special day, and to celebrate today I want to show you the very first “notable moment” that I ever created. It was done approximately 22 years ago. It was a note to my girlfriend, at the time, to make her day feel better. I can tell you almost the exact age of it because TODAY is my 21st wedding anniversary to that young lady. In the picture is my wife and I staring at the sunset together with some words to make her day go by better. It is the principal that I use today, when drawing for all of my readers… Give them something that they can take away and use in their day. My wife and I have been together almost half our life’s and I have to tell you, I wouldn’t trade a second of it… not the good or the bad or the hard or the easy. When we first got together, I thought I would be doing these notes for her for the rest of our lives together little did I know that 20 some years later I would be doing it for a bunch of readers who follow my work , but I tell you, the best part of this, is I’m still excited to do it. There have been times where it has not always been easy, and we’ve had to cut back, but I am fortunate to say that the woman that I married, and I depend on in my life, has never asked me to be anything but myself and for that reason I count my blessings every day.
Shannon, to this day I still don’t know how or why you chose me but, I know that because of you, my life is better, I am more creative, I am better prepared, and I am a better person because of you. Happy Anniversary Kid. I would still buy your chairs!
21 years, now THAT’S how you Turn It Around!!
Go win your day!
